Moissanite is a silicon carbide-based stone that is manufactured in a lab. A thermal growth procedure is used to make it naturally. Moissanite can also be found in nature, but it is extremely rare. Dr. Henri Moissan, a famous chemist who won the Nobel Prize, was the first to discover it. He discovered it in Arizona, at the site of a big meteorite impact. Moissanite is difficult to discover in the earth since there have been so many meteor strikes throughout history.
What's so unique about Moissanite?
Moissanite has a feature known as fire, which is a rainbow effect of many colors that radiates from the stone. The level of dispersion, often known as the prism effect, determines the gemstone's fire. When a pure, white light shines into a non-opaque item, it disintegrates into rainbow colors, which then reflect back to the person seeing the stone. Moissanite has a higher dispersion level than any other gemstone, including emeralds, diamonds, sapphires, and rubies, at 0.104.
How brilliant is a Moissanite Ring?

The BRI level of Moissanite can range from 2.65 to 2.69. When compared to a diamond with a BRI of 2.42, moissanite engagement rings are far more brilliant and produce much more sparkle. Upon completion, your order will be shipped out within 24 hours via DHL express which takes 2 to 5 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email or SMS.

Every piece of jewelry we create is 100% custom, and most of our moissanite gemstones are sourced specifically for each piece on our customers' behalf, which means we can’t take items back and put them in stock for another customer. Because of that, we don't accept returns, or offer refunds or cancellations.
Note: In the event of manufacturing defects, you may be eligible for returns or refund in the form of credit note on our website. All returned purchases must be in original condition (unworn, tagged, and unaltered with no missing parts) and accompanied by the original packaging, certificates, warranty documents and instructions. Refunds are subject to standard inspection.*

Shipping:
Every piece is made to order to ensure the highest quality and standards. Please allow our artisan to take the time it needs to craft your ring by hand, which normally takes under 3 weeks.
Once your ring is completed. It will be shipped out within 24 hours using FedEx or DHL express shipping option. A tracking number will be sent to your email or your phone number so that you can keep track of the status of your package.
Our package is discreetly packed to avoid ruining the surprise.

30-Day Returns/Exchanges:
Our custom jewelry are not refundable. This includes making changes or making a customized request on metal type, stone size, stone quality, ring size, engraving as such. We also cannot accept refund or return on items that are specified as closeout or final sales items
When returning jewelry, it’s important to include the GRA certificate that your jewelry came with. If the certificate isn’t included with your return, we will not be able to issue a credit note.
Please note: To start a return, you can contact us at contact@astridmoissanite.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
Item must be in original, brand new condition and must be returned in the Astrid Moissanite gift box. Please include your Return Authorisation (RA) number. We do not No returns on custom pieces, solid gold pieces, earrings or sale items
Returns are assessed by our Customer Care team. Upon inspection, if a return does not meet the above requirements, Astrid Moissanite will return the item at the customers expense.
Astrid Moissanite are not liable for returned items that are lost or damaged.
Special/Bespoke/Customised Orders
Customised orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
All Astrid Moissanite jewelry come with a 60 days warranty which covers manufacturing faults, defined as such after assessment by our Customer Care team.
Faults incurred after this date are considered a result of general wear and tear or mishandling and not covered by warranty.
Manufacturing faults do not include: broken or snapped, tarnish, misshaped bands, bent claws, snapped pendants, chipped, cracked, lost stones or pendants.
If any of the above occur, Astrid Moissanite will not accept the return and return shipping will be charged to the customer.
